Our TV deal mandates X number of games on Y networks so while I haven't checked it is probable that the top team in a given year will have reasonably comparable coverage. Although multiple high performing teams might dilute it.

Who can say really, we've been losing big for decades.

It's utter despondency like this that totally disarms me.

We've had some pretty decent coverage in the past in the MVC but this year is a definite step up. I want to give all the credit to the AAC but I think it's a mixture of several factors. There's no doubt though that the synergy created by our national brand, along with the conference move, has given us a nice boost. Another factor has to be our stellar OOC schedule (playing 3 B12-2 schools) which was created before we accepted the AAC invite.

ESPN/ESPN2 - 4 (games not played yet - some could add to flagship total)
ESPN2 - 6
CBS - 2
CBSSN/ESPNU - 10

Two of our ESPN2 games so far this year have been against OSU and OU. And in Maui we had two more ESPN2 games and one ESPN game against Marquette. We would have still had those in the Valley I presume.

I think we're getting a nice bump in television exposure in this league. I can't compare everything right now because I've got a headache from drinking too much fancy craft beer.

FYI, all the Cox games were also broadcast live on ESPN3. So you can actually add 14 to the ESPN3 total. Those games were blacked out in KS, but ESPN3 was my lifeline for the dark years we were in the MVC.

This year has been awesome for us out of towners. No more struggling with the crappy ESPN app.
