Should be fun! Both of tonight's games could go either way.

I just hope our team left for Greenville already. We've got a mix of freezing rain and snow right now so travel might be iffy if they didn't get out of town last night.

They chartered out yesterday, then will leave immediately after the game and media (like midnight) to charter to Tulsa given the short turn around.

I'll go with Tulsa over Houston to keep with the current trend of the conference sabotaging its NCAA chances.

Yup. Also, you can expect ECU over WSU.

Folks in Greenville --- wasn't there a proposed expansion of the runways at PGV to cut down on the amount of folks who have/had to drive to RDU instead?

Did that happen or still in the talking stage? I am sure that all non-football teams should be able to use PGV --- but incoming football teams?

They are really easing WSU into this conference schedule, aren't they?

Coogs couldn't have caught better timing.

After ECU upsets whacheeta state, their next game against UH won't be near as exciting, so Coogs should be able to waltz in and out of greenville with the win.

Go ECU. Don't Coog It.

Actually, yeah. This is my first first-hand experience with an unbalanced schedule (true double-round robin was the ONE thing that I still liked about the MVC), so I've been trying to run some intra-conference SOS numbers. Debating whether I like my current model enough to publish it here or not.

WSU's first 5 are pretty light, but they pay for it with a brutal last 5.

Interestingly, SMU was given an artificially easy league schedule but is still blowing it. Temple on the other hand, has the most difficult schedule, so I would expect them to rejoin the middle of the pack if the team doesn't give up. Tulsa has the easiest schedule, and I would expect them to rejoin the middle of the pack as well.

Much easier than watching that crap Cincy plays. I usually use their games to help me fall to sleep.

Not surprised. You’ve sleep walked through this whole season.

Not his fault. Many promised the AAC was going to be a wake-up call. He's still waiting.

What would a football team travel on? I assume something around the size of a 737.

I was bored so I did a little checking. According to my chart supplement PGV has a 7175' runway which is long enough for a 737 but the listed load bearing capacity is too low for one so that runway would have to be completely replaced if they want to handle larger aircraft. The other runway has the required load bearing capacity to handle a 737 but is on the short side at 5000'.
