Interesting word that you would use for this game or any game matching MT/ODU. Karma. Maybe ironic.

White outs don't work out to well for ODU when hosting Middle Tennessee...

I showed you mine. Now you have to show me yours. It's the only humane thing to do.
They are, indeed, quite lovely! I had hoped my post would elicit this response, and you graciously complied. Safe travels MTSU fans, should be a great atmosphere at the TED on Thursday evening. Hopefully the game lives up to its potential, and maybe ODU can finally break that MTSU curse.

Looking forward to this game. MTSU is a fine team and I think it will be a competitive game. I give them the edge on defense (mainly because we have struggled to defend stretch 4s and 3 pointers) and I think we have a slight edge on offense with more guys that can score and more diversification. I think we will do a relatively decent job on Potts and Walters and there is no one else that is a huge threat, but King could score 30 if we dont' figure out something.

King could score 30 even if we do figure something out.
And I'm thinking the opposite. If anything we edge them a bit on defense and them us on offense. But both teams have stingy defenses, I think ours might be a bit more disruptive in causing turnovers but our perimeter D has been vulnerable and teams have killed us from behind the arc this year. We might have a more balanced scoring distribution but just because the have a couple of players that are really dynamic that they can rely on to score but those few can score in many ways so stopping them isn't real easy.
Overall, I think the two teams are a lot alike in style of play, stingy defenses with pretty good balanced offensive attack but both have suffered from scoring draughts this season. I think it's going to come down to execution and who shows up to play. I know without a doubt we have the talent to beat them, if we play well. They could probably say the same. Looking forward to it.
