Been dead AF around here in my absence save for some 3rd string troll action and a dash of Pesik OCD.

Looks like yUCk showed some major kinks in the old armor last night. Down 20 at home to the coogs? 03-lmfao

Who's ready to have some fun again?

Just when I thought we'd fall short of 70 pages on today's game thread, Cold and payday are well-rested and raring to go.

Do I expect it...no. But a win tonight...and Temple is back in the realm of possibilities.

In 2001 Georgia made it with a 16-14 record.

In 2011 (5) at large bids were given to teams with 14 loses:
Michigan St. 19-14
Penn S. 19-14
Tennessee 19-14
USC 19-14
Marquette 20-14

Several teams with RPI's in the 60's have gotten at large bids

I'd say Temple is still very much alive with their current RPI and SOS, just need to get 19 wins and they definitely have a shot

Reading comprehension off? I didn't say they couldn't get in, I said they need 19 wins. One more would get them to 12, then they need 7 more and have 8 plus tournament.

I personally think it’s garbage to get an at-large bid if you can’t even win more games in your conference than you lose.

Temple can get in. There is zero evidence that they will be able to finish the season strong enough to get in. This hypothetical is pointless. USF can also win the conference tournament, let’s talk about that.

60s rpi's require 20 win seasons or a weak bubble.

But this pretty much proves my point. 18 they are probably out 19 probably in. 20 gets them in for sure.

All the credit for last game thread's magnitude belongs to Pesik and his lobotomizing keystroke.

I wasn't resting, I was protesting. I grew tired of the disparaging comments from on high. Every time I post, Van Gogh does a back-flip in his grave. A simple thank you would suffice.

Even at 18 wins, they are projected to have a 37 RPI and an SoS of 15. Still very possible depending the strength of the bubble

I have long been a fan of adding one simple rule and think it would make a way better tournament.

No team may be given an at large birth with a below .500 conference record before the conference tournament.

No more 8th place big Xii team, more runner up horizon teams, 3rd place a-10 teams.

The bubble will be the key on 18, that's where bad losses will hurt. 19 wins and the good wins will be the push they need.

Unfortunately the Committee doesn’t care for your rules. I just posted several examples across 20 years to prove it. And there’s many more.

Wins over Auburn, Clemson and SMU is definitive evidence WSU may be heading home again with their tails between their legs.

For a rule I want put in? Yes, they don't care about my imaginary rule. Good observation, I would venture a guess they don't even know my invisible friend either.
