RE: Charleston - Senior Night
Layup line for COC absolutely horrible help side D. A shame the seniors couldn’t go out on a good note

RE: Charleston - Senior Night
That sure was bad help defense. I thought that we had that corrected, but it wasn't there tonight.

RE: Charleston - Senior Night
C of C shot 68 % for the game. Hawk were 4-22 from 3. The freshmen weren't ready for the moment and we couldn't get Fornes going either and Taylor didn't go off to make up for it. Hawks do have a nice offense if guys are hitting the shots that were open and that they normally can hit, but that defense was bad tonight. I can live with a drive and kick but not getting near the hole before help arrives was really sad. They need to look at this and learn. I'd play the guys that will step in and help and also guys that defend well in the first place. Cacok did play great tonight.

Their players constantly taunted us. Especially Brantley. He went over to Chuck Ogbodo and taunted him over at the sideline chairs. Chuck jumped up and started out on the floor, but luckily he thought better of it.

I agree 33 on Brantley this team reminded of Charleston team that jumped on scorers table and taunted the student section.

Brantley is a punk, but is fun to watch. He went behind the back 2x with different hands while bringing it up the floor and he's like 6'7" or a bit taller.

Well we owned them in the Keatts era they are now 2-0 I’m our new era. They have always acted a bit “thuggish” IMO.

Saw that on tv. It was after one of his made 3’s right?

That’s inexcusable, trash behavior and he’s always like that. He was like that last year too. Earl Grant either supports it or doesn’t punish it. Which I find repulsive for a college coach. I’d rather not win a game all season than us have a team that does that garbage regularly, unchecked. For that reason, I’d never support or agree with Grant being a CAA coach of the year.

I’d honestly hate to see the CAA represented like that during the NCAAT, should Brantley ever see that day.

I don't think that their coach is a bad guy and Brantley might be ok off the court-who knows? I'm just going to give props to a good team that simply beat us tonight. Hawks have some talent, but they need to clean some things up.

If you guys hadn’t had to deal with the JMU mumps thing, this could have gone another way. But this was your 5th game in 10 days, I think that’s what made the difference in the last 5minutes when it broke open. I didn’t see Brantley so can’t comment on that.

Good luck getting that 6th spot.

I have zero problem giving props to a team that beat us, hell, even to Brantley for his shooting abilities at his size. However, I don’t respect coaches that don’t at least attempt to control their players’ on court behavior. Not the first rodeo with CofC acting like this.

Seems like a Uncw v Charleston quarterfinal would be a war. But, the tournament is going to be crazy. Delaware got Daly back too. It is basically a one possession league. I won't be surprised at any result in an individual game. But, Charleston is a big favorite with Northeastern next. Riller and Pusica are both just too good.

Apparently CoC complained about some students in our student section last game and got at least one of them kicked out!

Might still be salty from getting their arses kicked IN CHARLESTON last year

It certainly could be fun. Delaware getting Daly back, Drexel getting Williams back, JMU playing well lately. And these are the bottom teams. I dont think anyone will have an easy go through the tournament. Elon to me looks like the clear weakest team right now.

I wouldn't bet against CofC either, but I really do not think anyone looks to have a clear path against any team. The tournament challenge this year should be a fun one.

We could here a young girl dropping F bombs from where I sit. That's really loud. That very well could have been the problem. And that's not the Seahawk way. Glad that was taken care of. C of C fans had every right to complain.

Not aware of a young lady dropping F bombs. Per Social media, the guy with the painted chest that led the team out with the flag on Saturday got kicked out for his heckling of the CoC bench.

As much as I want to praise the student section for showing up in full force, many of them are not very clever. Hopefully they improve in the latter category. I do like the whiteboard guy though.

I know this will sound like I'm trying to increase the length of my walk to school by a mile each year, but.....Back in my day.....the students were loud AND creative, and it was awesome. Gotta have both aspects.

That must have happened in the second half. He was still around at halftime.
