I don't know how many people are NASCAR fans, but I am.

My question to the powers that be in NASCAR is WTF are you doing?

The Daytona 500 is THE race of the season. It's the biggest event of the race year. It's the one race that the casual race fan and casual sports fan might watch.

All that being said, it doesn't do much to promote your sport when only 10 cars manage to stay on the lead lap and half the field wrecks and is out by the halfway point. How does the casual fan react when the names they might know are sitting on the sidelines in a wrecked car? They turn the channel.

PLEASE do something about these restrictor plate races. Open them up and let them race.

Used to be a fan, but not anymore. The grandchildren have tuned NASCAR into the biggest joke in sports. But, they did get the four "big ones" they wanted with the dumb*** "segments". I only saw the "overtime". Dillon only won by putting Amirola into the wall.
