How far has UCONN fallen? Ollie will be gone soon. The UCONN Boneyard message board has been entertaining as of late. Hope to see that program back in the top 100 soon.

Haters gotta hate.

As usual, you add nothing of substance to the conversation. Go back to helping to ruin the conference board. you have done a bang up job there. No one is hating, as you always put it. Stop wetting yourself at the first sign of any constructive criticism. 07-coffee3

Glad to see the Cats bounce back 92. UCONN is not good, and being without their leading scorer makes them even worse. I guess no one feels like celebrating beating them.

Crickets maybe because UConn isn’t a big game at the moment? I watched all of Houston and Wichita on my big screen. I saw portions of UConn from my booth on a tv behind the bar at a Mexican restaurant.

We are not an elite offensive team he said, we will never be. Trey Scott will only make an impact by being tough, as he will never have the offensive game to blossom. I do not understand this. Why? Why can we not develop players offensively? This makes no sense to me. Kmart was a spazz his freshman year offensively but continued to improve into the player of the year. Didn't Bobby Brannen also lead us in scoring his senior year, and I am sure there are other examples. I just don't get this.

Because you can't make butter with a toothpick no matter how hard you try.

So you just punt? Play defense? Not buying it.

I'm saying you can't develop something that isn't there. Scott is very limited in many aspects. You can't just make him have tools and then develop the tools. It doesn't work that way. Honestly, the kid shouldn't have a scholarship because I just dont see what he gives us. He's basically Shaq Thomas II. Other than athletic, what can he do?

I'd say Scott is a better prospect at this point in his career than Justin Jackson was at the same point. In a lot of aspects they're the same player. Scott really hasn't had a chance to blossom playing behind Gary. The guy has 2 years left. Let's see what happens next year when his minutes go up significantly.

Believe me, I'd LOVE to be wrong here and will gladly eat crow if I am.

Agree that Scott has great upside and needs more reps and game time. He tain't going to get much right now with Clark, Washington, Brooks, et. al. ahead of him. He had a pretty solid game last night though.

Agreed. I think we'll all be delighted if we see similar minutes and production against Tulsa and Tulane, knowing that Scott is really becoming a contributor and Clark is conserving some energy for WSU + ACC tourney + a deep run thereafter.

It's always good to hammer UCONN. And I actually hate that they've fallen so far because it damages the reputation of the AAC and the quality of our wins against them.

That team we played last night did absolutely nothing to help us prepare/get better for March. This conference blows.

Shared the same comment with someone this morning who wasn't at the game. I had rather Adams have played for the Huskies and made the game more competitive for UC. Tulsa should be a better test this Sunday.
