we need to throw them a bone with a good schedule. i've always been in the minority of loving the palestra games. correct me i'm wrong...but we didn't play down there at all this year. i used to mark my calendar for the penn and sju games down there every year. my first drexel game was vs penn at the palestra.

this might all come down to the old "things just aren't what they used to be" cliche. student sections in general seem to be down. i've been to a number of high school games here in central pa and haven't encountered a decent student section yet. they stand and coordinate shirts but just stand there. it's sad really.

It is unfair without knowing details. However if there was ever a season to have a bunch of easy road trips it was this season. There were so many games close by to get people to attend and make a road presence. It obviously did not happen. I also agree how nice opening the season with Penn is or at least playing them really early. That was always an energetic game that would encourage fans to come back for more, regardless of the results.

Without saying much here, here's my contribution to this discussion. I do hope the discussion continues into the offseason, as my research on the subject has shown there to be a lot worth discussing.

You beat me to this by about 3 seconds. I'm going to start a new thread on this because it is a great discussion piece.
