It has been a very good year, one that we can all be proud of. At his pay level dealing with all these pressures is part of the job. I thought the new arena and better locker rooms was the answer to all the recruiting problems. Now we have new issues? When will all the excuses stop? Mick just needs to chill...... he looks really bad when he tries to be a tough guy. As a twenty year season ticket holder just win the last two games and I will be happy! GOCATS
Mick did an outstanding job rebuilding the program during his first five years, and has done a decent job since. But this is his 11th season, and he has no conference championships, no conference tournament championships, only one Sweet 16, and only two NBA players. As Bill Parcells said, in sports, "you are what your record says you are." The balance of the season will tell whether it's time for an amicable parting.
I know this doesn't change your argument . But he did win a conference championship in 2014
And won it by tying the defending National Champions (I'm sorry, the former, defending national champions) and finishing ahead of the eventual national champions.

The regular season winning percentages don't bear it out, and neither would tourney winning percentage. You fail on both counts.
Again--you and reality are strangers.
Huggins did final 4, then next year missed final 4 on screw job vs NC in OT.
And then outside of one year in 96, never got even close again.
He did at WVU....
so
The discussion is what coaches have done at UC.
I thought the discussion was whether these were quality coaches. Does a coach vanish from the record books the second he leaves UC?
I don't think so.
The subsequent work matters in terms of the entire resume, and Huggin's body of work dwarfs Cronin's.

Not saying this to be funny...honestly didnt know Lance was still on the air in this town. Every time I turn on WLW its Ken Broo talking about a Rock Star from 1961 or Fill in the Blank interviewing Mike Allen or Sheriff Jones. Thank goodness for SiriusXM.

That's something that Ken Broo is actually pretty good at. I think he puts prep time in on his music stories whereas with his sports talk he just wings it.

Back in the day, I almost never missed Trumpy and Collinsworth. Same with Furman, until I got tired of his schtick. Haven't found anyone worth listening too since then.
