I don't see it being true.

However, they certainly got their guy in the end and Benedict was most certainly not their guy.

RE: Pope Benedict XVI was forced to resign
We would never know or have any evidence even if they had. So its pretty pointless getting too worked up over it.

The idea that its impossible though is rather absurd. Whether the parties involves be Obama, Soros or some other person/group.

Which reminds me. Did you hear about the convict who got upset when he realized his parole date was coming up? He didn't want to leave his buddies behind.

A little off topic but I actually watched this video this morning and your comment made me think of it. The Shawshank Redemption is my favorite movie of all time, but I never realized how religious the film is. This video believes it's one of the most christian movies ever made with its symbolism. It's an interesting video if you've seen the movie.

I haven't watched your linked video, but I think it would have been pretty cool if King had written the story as a Christian allegory. However, King did say that he is "not God's stenographer."

it's easily in my top 20.....IMO, it's nothing more that the sadomasochist vs. the flesh....there's quite a bit more going on than the 'religious aspect'

you gotta give ol' Ron H. some credit.....he went from being a child actor (escaping unscathed) to one of the best directors in the history of hollywood.....

that's one helluva an achievement in that world of 'sinister sin'.....

The movie was dedicated to Alan Greene. He was a young agent who died shortly before the movie was completed. Its a movie that will keep his name alive for a long time. I knew his Mother.

https://www.snopes.com/politics/religion...nedict.asp

That has nothing to do with the article I linked up though. Snopes is not all knowing.

I didn't suggest that it did, other than to say that some people will believe anything that they see if it fits their narrative. I find Soros and Clinton detestable, but I think I'd rather see other sources before I believe that somehow La Tribuna Del Pais Vasco is "all knowing" either.

Snopes is not reliable if you go into the religious/political arena. Snopes is a husband and wife team that are active Democrats, so they are very biased. They are fine if you stay out of those 2 areas.

Shawshank is without a doubt one of the all time top 10.

I got the director wrong....I thought it was Howard....it was Frank Darabont

thanks for sharing that info....any way you cut it, it's a well written/directed movie that taps on a number of issues that is relevant to this thread in totality.....

I dunno. That's a little out there. I mean it's weird that a Pope stepped down. But I don't think that it was because of those three. As much as I dislike Obama, Clinton, and Soros, I'm not sure they got that kinda stroke. Could be wrong.

And yet millions of Catholics will continue to vote for the people that look down on them.

Makes me glad I left Catholicism years ago. It is a ponzi scheme that makes Amway look like a piker.
