I hope CoC gets NCAA refs that let them play as physical as they have been allowed to play this year

That's absolutely not going to happen, unless they get matched up with another mid... which is unlikely.

I'm interested to see if the committee goes with another CAA/ACC matchup.

How many ACC/CAA matchups would that be in a row? I know we went back to back... and I think it was NU a few years ago that drew Notre Dame? Anyone remember?

2014 Delaware drew Michigan St

NE got ND in 2015 and then we got Duke and UVa in 16 and 17

If the seeding is even close, for sure.

Officiating was trash tonight. Cost NU the game to call that travel with a minute left.

Definitely the most talented team in the conference, but man I just don't like those guys.

Not really interested in hearing about trash calls against NU after the Boston mugging we experienced last night.

Obviously Wichita State doesn't make sense regionally, but would be cool to see Coach Grant go against his mentor.

I do respect that. Mainly it's Brantley that I don't like. I hope they represent the CAA well.

It’s s front! That’s a team full of punks. And can we really complain about the refs last night? We could have gotten every call and we’d still have gotten rolled!

RE: Championship Week
After watching CofC and the home court advantage they've had these past two years, it really hammers home how impressive UNCW as been in winning CAA tournaments.

Richmond and VCU enjoyed incredible home court advantages in the CAA tournament, but we won there. Towson had an advantage in Baltimore, but we won there. CofC had a huge advantage last year, but we beat them on their home turf as well. Could you imagine where we would be if we had that same advantage, with 5,000 plus UNCW fans in attendance for a CAA tournament in Wilmington? Almost 8,000 fans at the game last night and without that crowd no way CofC comes back against NU.

They had an impressive crowd last year too. Our fan base is the only one that travels well enough to offset the loudness of the home crowd. We were every bit as loud last year although in sheer numbers it was probably 2-1

RE: Championship Week
I'm sure its been talked about on here before but I'd prefer that our conference let the #1 seed host the tournament. I wasn't around for the Richmond years, but the attendance in Baltimore and Charleston has been pretty bad. With Elon and JMU building new arenas most schools could handle it. Is this a crazy idea?
