Yeah a lot of things hit newspapers. Doesn't mean they are true. Did you read eyewitness accounts in the link that said it didn't go down like he said. Reading is FUNdamental.

He's the biggest self promoter of our time and a compulsive liar so yeah, him telling a whopper like "I'm not looking to play this thing up" followed immediately with playing it up, pretty much makes it a hill you're already dead on if you're buying his bs.

Even if you buy the account, he just spoke to a guy. I mean really, wtf. How does one make the leap he'd charge unarmed into a live fire situation.

Virtually no one does that. "I believe I would. And everyone of you here would". NO THEY WOULDN'T. Possible 1 or 2 in the room would. Possible. Unlikely.

Hell even Trump had enough sense to not claim he would, that he just thought he might.

Trump and some here push this false notion that a large percentage of the population will put their own lives on the line to save others. Yet we have mall shootings, theater shootings, bar shootings, school shootings, concert shootings that prove they wont. It's a rare bird who will. Extremely rare. Jeez, the armed, paid professionals don't. We have video proof of thousands and thousands who don't. And a few who will. Derangement to keep pushing a blatant falsehood.

I think most people would put their own lives on the line to save others, but the likelihood of doing it is proportional to the amount of choices you have.

If it's likely that you'll die anyway, I think most people would lay their lives down. If I'm in there and the shooter's coming to spray everyone in the room, I can see myself jumping across the kids.

If outside and unarmed, I can't imagine 99% of people going in. That's what we call suicide.
