Y’all seem to own us. Hard fought. There is a reason y’all are #1. Making my NCAA bracket much easier. I hope we make it and aren’t in your region.

I am amazed that you can say it at this point. I still can't believe the outcome. To be 4 down with less than a second and still win. The Cards outplayed us for almost the whole game. I hope you are in the ncaa tourney too.

Could've, should've, would've. Congrats Cavs! I never felt comfortable since the Cards never seemed able to extend the lead beyond 10. That's the difference between a great team & a good team, one makes plays when it counts. The Cavs are tough down the stretch.

RE: Good game Virginia.
So many what if's in the last moments of the game that change the outcome.

What if ... there's no foul on the last 3 pointer with U of L up 4? Shot goes up, and clock runs out. He makes it, Cards win by 1. He misses, Cards win by 4. But foul happened. So ... he goes to shoot 3, being down 4. With 0.9 seconds to play. Sooooo ...

What if ... after making 2 FT's, pulling Cavs to down 2 ... what if there is no lane violation called against UVA while the 3rd intentionally missed FT is being grabbed by U of L .... clock runs out. Cards win by 2. BUT ... there was a lane violation. Clock stays at 0.9. U of L ball out of bounds. Soooo ....

What if .... Deng Adel doesn't travel on the out of bounds play, and instead just throws the ball to half court? Virginia would have to steal it, and immediately launch a shot from half court .... Instead, Deng travels, clock stays put, UVA ball out of bounds.

All this happened in the last 2 seconds of the game.

I knew the last shot was going to go in. It just felt like it would. After all that had transpired. But even THAT shot was a crazy long shot.

UVA was destined to win that game.

All correct except for the fact that it all happened in .9 seconds, not 2. UVa outscored Wake two years ago 9-1 in the last 14 seconds to win with a bank shot. That now seems so slow and unproductive! I hope destiny continues to the natty.

Well .... he started taking the shot with 2 seconds, the foul happened at 0.9. You can't foul the shooter unless he is taking the shot ... which had to happen before 0.9 ...

REGARDLESS .... it's stupefying to be up 4 with 2 seconds, and lose.
