I am not familiar with Michigan's gun laws, so I was asking. Here in Texas, you are allowed to bring your handgun in college campuses. Like I said, a legitimate question.

Something odd here. I guess they could be Campus staff of one sort or another, I just immediately thought students...

It's not a prison...it's a school. In most, family and friends can visit pretty much any time except for the overnight hours. And even then they can stay if they have permission.

Also some universities have started to allow students have non student roommates. It just has to be ok with the student.

Clearly banning is the answer. Just look at how great all of the other things that banning or setting a minimum age for has worked so far:

- Minimum age to drink 21. I remember the days when they put that rule in place and every kid stopped immediately.
- Pot is Illegal. That one too I have never ever ever seen anyone smoke a joint (or take ANY non prescription drugs for that matter)
- No guns in schools: Immediate safe haven
- No sex out of wedlock marriage: of course that NEVER happens
- Speed limits: it is nice to know exactly how long it takes to get places when I know the exact speed and distance that every single driver in our country drives because it is the law.
- Illegal immigrants: boy oh boy I remember that day, for a week every flight was booked, you couldn't even get a train ticket as everybody who was not here with legal paperwork left to go back home.


I mean just make it a damn law and everybody will abide by it.... WTF is the matter with you people.

Make guns illegal and it will stop this problem right now..... today..... immediately.

Every single person in the country will turn in their guns. Foreign countries will respect our law and any wars will be hand to hand combat, and karate.... IT WILL BE AWESOME.

Yeah, I would have thought his protest were genuine if he had ever admonished one of his own for immediately politicizing a shooting but he never does.

The shooter was from my town. News reports state that his parents came to pick him up after he went to the clinic for possible overdose.
