Please make him 6 feet 10 inches or taller with really springy legs and good eye-hand coordination. He doesn't have to be able to talk or spell. He can be ugly as sin also. Needs a 4 star+ rating.

By "Lunker" i'm guessing that Cold means a guy like Orukpe but with a clue on offense and hands that aren't bricks.

While i'm exited about Midtgaard and think he will end up being a good player for us I don't think he is a lunker level athlete.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the definition of "lunker" would be a 4 to 5-star, top 50 kind of beastly player that makes women and children cry in fear and Cold grab the nearest moist towel. I don't think the Great Dane meets all the criteria, but it's close.

A Lunker makes an immediate impact on the team as a freshman. He doesn't stay long on the team either. God Bear doesn't even come close.

I'll admit that I would have thought we'd have landed Cold's prized lunker by now. We've had some pretty good big men and they've all seemed to develop well and we don't ignore the post by any means. Figured those things along with our rise in national perception would have got us one by now. We've been close to a few, and apparently may be again, but it is only a matter of time.

Either way though, Marshall knows how to recruit and how to develop and how to coach. We're in good hands.

The competition for lunkers is intense. There's so few of them, and as the FBI investigation has shown, the big programs literally pay them.

Getting out of the MVC is going to help us immensely. I think we'll get one within the next few years.
