I’m happy with the hire and it’s Brian White not Mike White.

Agreed..lol. While Mike’s a very good basketball coach, not sure he has the administration experience to be a D1 AD. Brian, on the other hand, seems to and has potential to be a solid hire.

I know Brian White very well. He's a friend of mine, and used to come over to Dallas and buy me lunch when La Tech was playing somebody in the area. Good guy. Funny guy too. (I better keep some of our stories private, haha!) Anyway, he comes from a great "athletic" family and should do very well as FAU's AD.

I feel like Michael Curry is all but done at FAU as the head basketball coach and I know that Dusty May and Jordan Mincey were at La Tech with Mike White while Brian White was the associate AD.
I hope one of them is the first call.

Both Curry at FAU and Evans at FIU should have been fired last year. Curry was 27-64 in 3 years and Evans was 51-74 in 4 years. I know that feeling of thinking you are never going to get out of the hole and look any better.
It wasn't to long Marshall was in that same situation with Ron Jirsa as HC from 2004-07. In Jirsa's 4 years at Marshall he went a whopping 49-71. I knew we was in trouble when I seen his 1st ever recruit he brought in, Ryan Lamb a whopping 5'8 142 pound PG who in 2 years at Marshall scored 53 points (22 as a Freshman and 31 as a Soph.)
