Another sports channel added to Pluto TV..
Ok.....Pluto TV is on a rampage in adding sports channels.
First it was Fox Sports, then WAC Baseball (which will probably segway into next season for fall and winter sports).
Now Champions Indoor Football ( CIF) has a channel on Pluto.

If there is any additional channels added I'll use this thread to up date.

I am an avid fan of arena/indoor football. CIF wasnt in YouTube last year. So this is a big upgrade for them. NAL, IFL and now AAL are on YouTube. I'll have to see how the production differs

Pluto doesn't have too much of anything at the moment that would be part of a mainstream IPTV package aside from a few news stations.

I've downloaded the Pluto channel on my Roku device, but I have yet to really dive in and look at the channels/content. Might get on that.

PS - I would highly recommend getting a Roku stick or a Roku TV if you are thinking of upgrading/cord cutting. The thing is awesome!

If you download the app on your phone, you can hide channels you don't want. It can clean up the guide you have. Don't think there is an option via Roku to edit channels to hide.

Best decision I ever made was buying a TCL roku TV. You turn it on and the first screen that pops up you can choose between your pay tv (satellite in my case), antenna, Blu-Ray player, streaming box (in my case a now rarely used Apple TV), or any roku channel app you've installed. Not fiddling with inputs makes it so much easier.

I very rarely watch anything on Pluto because I'm not interested in Big Sky sports but they do seem to have a few channels running some decent movies.

Since PlutoTV has the CBSNews channel I wonder if they'll get the CBS Sports HQ channel?

Stadium + Big Sky + Sports HQ would make it a nice little package. Especially for free. Maybe the OVC will sign a contract with PlutoTV as well.

The WAC baseball probably segued from the Big Sky channel, since two of the Big Sky teams play baseball in the WAC, so they would be broadcasting those anyways.

I just registered the app today on my lunch break. When I get home after work, I'll go through it more in depth and remove some of the excess noise. Wish there were more live sports channels. If they could add some options besides Big Sky, it would be wonderful.

Some Pluto content is also available on a channel specific app.

The season started last weekend. If you saw an indoor team score just 15 points on 5 field goals, you saw a game from week 1.

Honestly, watching five minutes of CIF and their lack of quality, they should be paying me the $75 the players get weekly. Seeing less than 500 people in the stands is not encouraging

CIF is the lowest level of actual pro indoor football. IFL and NAL are top notch and with the 4 team AFL are top dogs.

IFL Arizona will draw 13000 or so to games
NAL Jacksonville will draw 11-12,000 per game
AFL teams usually draw around 10-15k per game.

CIF is a regional league that would be classed Single A if we were talking about minor league baseball.

The Arizona Rattlers moved to the IFL from the AFL because they thought it was a stabler league. Only 4 teams in the AFL, all on the East Coast

MLS (Major League Soccer) now has their own Pluto TV channel.

Showing 15 minute condense recaps of games, best plays of the week, as well as, some classic games.
