It's nice to see them get the first team exactly right. Too many MVC flashbacks of somebody who put up big PPG on a losing team getting first team honors just based on 1 stat.

Little surprised Davenport didnt make the all rookie team. Especially over Fabian White.

Davenport average 12.8pts and 6 rebs a game.

Honestly, I think all 5 of those guys on the 1st team should have been unanimous. Having Clark as the only unanimous probably means he will be POY. Well deserved for a great Bearcat.

Agreed .. It's really hard to make a case for anyone else. Shake would have knocked someone off if he was healthy the whole year.

It is only for freshman, not for newcomers.

Where is the guy who guaranteed Corey Davis would be 2nd team over Melvin Frazier? I like Davis, but that was funny.

I don't have any arguments with anyone on the 1st or 2nd team this season. Rookie team is as expected too.

dont get your hopes up yet, 11 of the 12 in not unanimous... if 7 of the 11 picked someone else ..

i think he is the favorite, im just pointing out that using unanimous is flawed

The 1st team has one thing in common - each school is represented by the players who will likely earn an NCAA Tourney bid. It makes sense because the best teams tend to have the best players.

It confuses me that they would do that with the 1st team, and then make the second team the "stats" category. I would think Tulsa should have 2 on 2nd team since we finished 4 spots higher than we were supposed to and that wasn't all due to Etou's play. Adams and Milton making it doesn't sit well with me.

Seeing a lot of discontent on Twitter than Martin didn't make first team over Shamet ... I'm not understanding that thought...

I mean the only guy I could conceivably see over Clark is Rob Gray. I guess there is a chance Evans takes a vote or two away from Clark.

It's the 4th year in a row ECU has had representation on the All-Rookie Team, too bad we never had a coach that could develop them in to all conference talent later on.

You can make the argument that Corey was our most important player in conference. He should have got the nod over Melvin Frazier (Tulane finished 10th in comference) or Shake Milton who missed almost half of the conference season. It is what it is, though.

You follow some mighty uninformed Twits. The conference absolutely nailed the first team.

Melvin Frazier doesn’t sit well with me at all. More deserving guys than Frazier and Milton.

So nice to be in a conference that actually uses good judgment rather than the Mediocre Valley Conference. Thank you AAC!!!

It would be fun to have our All Conference, 1st/2nd team, play an all-star style tournament against other all conference teams.
