That will be announced on Thursday.

Clark led the league in:

PER
Offensive Rating
Defensive Rating
Offensive Win Shares
Defensive Win Shares
Box Score +/-

I'd be shocked if he didn't win POY.

I didn’t intend to sound as if he wasn’t deserving. Shocker fans are just more familiar with awards going moral victories or good stories rather to those that actually deserve them. There’s very little doubt in my mind that if this was the MVC, Dunleavy would be coach of the year, just because they didn’t suck as bad as expected.

Brooks was a bit of a surprise as 6th man (I would've gave it to Darral Willis) but still deserving nonetheless.

I think everyone that’s watched Gary play or seen him interview knows he’s a great kid. I have no idea who her tweet was about, but if it was in reference to Clark, I think it would be much more difficult to believe.

No one claimed it was Clark. There wasn't a name mentioned.

Though i do find it kind of sad that people are making fun of it like it's worse to call it out rather than the people doing it.

I think it's sad that twitter was the go-to mechanism for calling out this 'alleged' action. Like that was the way to handle what apparently was an offensive action enough to be worth mentioning to the world.

Twitter is the worst. That whole mess, from the original tweet to the insane replies, is exactly why.

Also true. If it did happen, it was a sad situation that has been handled extremely poorly. Hopefully it gets handled appropriately (whatever that means, if anything) going forward.

Agree about Gary Clark.

He's kind of an anomaly on the Bearcats team.

Care to elaborate?

UC Apparently celebrated too hard on WSU's very stupid decision to have senior day festivities after the game ended. Oh and a member of the dance team said one of UC's players was rude to her when she was walking alone in the tunnel.

WSU fans, and the coaches wife and family are all class, all the time. So Bearcats are viewed poorly now by Shocker fans because of these outrageous actions of UC players.

thats the gist of it.

TL/DR Version: WSU fans are mad we stole their senior night thunder and their share of the league title when they thought it was all wrapped up.

Could be. We will never know. Just like we don't know how many licks to get to the center of a tootsie pop.

Bearcat fans seem sensitive. I like that. It shows humanity. I like you guys or some of you. Let's be friends.

Initially wanted Cane Broome to win 6th man of the year but then I looked at Brooks stats and they are off the charts.

He has an offensive rating of 130, a top 10 in the country TO rate and is lights out from 3.

Gonna be a great addition to the starting lineup next year for Houston

RE: Conference awards (1st and 2nd team All-AAC)
Kinda worried that Gary won Defensive Player of the year and sportsmanship of the year.

Does having won so many awards already take him out of the running for player of the year? Would be pretty insane for him to be 1st team AAC, POY, DPOY and sportsmanship player of the year.

we arent even sure he enters the starting line up...

next years team with no additions would still be a tourney team...with the projected improvements of fabian white and chris harris..and adding cedric alley jr (2017 texas basketball, who is red-shirting from injury)..

then add we are adding sampsons best class to date, with 3 4stars, and a high 3star....not sure who starts

Dejon Jarreau will be taking Rob’s spot in the starting lineup. And we’ll keep Armoni “Instant Offense” Brooks as the sixth man.

Got it. Thank you. Weird that they're still obsessing about a celebration. For a moment, I thought that something actually happened.

I really like that Nate Hinton guy you guys have coming in next year. UC was in on him through the whole process, but got Logan Johnson instead.

I think Houston in likely the pre-season favorite next year. I don't think Evans is coming back to UC, which means we will drop off a bit next year. Still should be a tourney team, but not Top 10 like we are this year.

Man i dunno, maybe your right but nothing about Dejon Jarreau's stats jump off the page and his 20% from 3 point range is concerning.

IF Galen starts at point ( he should IMO), and you mesh him with Corey Davis JR and Jarreau, You basically run an offense that ends up having 2 guards who can't shoot from distance and it clogs the lane a bit.

Looking at the roster, I'd start it something like this:
PG: Robinson ( need a senior ball handler on the floor) 6'1
SG: Corey Davis Jr 6'2
G/SF: Armoni Brooks 6'4 but with a huge wingspan.
PF: Fabian white 6'7
PF/C: Breon Brady 6'8

Then hinton, A. Davis, & Jareau run the backup wing spots.

Brooks has NBA potential as a 3 & D player, espeically if his wingspan is what sampson said it was. I think he rises and ends up starting next year. I don't see any of the freshman pushing him out of the way.

You may be right. I definitely can see your side of the argument. I really like Jarreau, though. He’s an elite athlete. He’s a bigger Rob Gray, but definitely does not have Gray’s jumper. Completely agree with you there.

And what’s scary about our backcourt next year is that Sampson said that Antoine Davis is the best shooter he has ever recruited while at Houston. This is a guy that has already recruited Armoni Brooks and Corey Davis.
