The "Koch Arena Effect"
The "Klash at Koch" probably couldn't have unfolded any better for this conference. The team with the superior historical tradition won, but they only won by 1 point, so the team with the superior recent tradition barely took a ding. And all of this unfolded in what is becoming the worst kept secret in college basketball, Charles Koch Arena. What a showcase for Aresco to leverage as he continues to push the P6/P7 narrative and grab those dolla billz. You can just feel the positive energy in the air. The American has never been more alive!

We've already covered this...

We have multiple flagships in this conference and more on the way.

I would say this conference has a 4 flagship cap (Wichita, Cincy, UConn, and Memphis).

Wichita is the fastest and shiniest flagship at the moment. Cincy is a great and mighty flagship but has cobwebs all over the place and some skeletons in the galley. The UConn flagship is a masterpiece and looks like something Ferrari might design, but it has a massive ******* hole in the side of it mere feet above the water line. And Flagship Memphis is in port finally having the major repairs that have been postponed since 2009.

When everybody is in formation and out at sea, we'll be able to conquer worlds... 07-coffee3

I am looking forward to seeing these new arenas/upgrades you guys are building. It’s nice to see conference mates that are actually willing to put money into their basketball programs.

Wait'll you see the new 5/3 Arena.

I'm sure it will be pretty. Lots of pretty arenas in America. Few compare to Koch Arena and those that inhabit it. Some say Shocker fans are the most knowledgeable basketball fans in America. When a ref misses a call badly they hear about it and usually issue a make-up call in short order (I saw that happen twice on Sunday).

Most arenas are filled with fans like the Boo cats; they just ***** when things don't go their way. Shocker fans boo when there is an egregious error. And if the incompetence continues, we boo so loud the referee's whistle is rendered mute. Rarely do we start tossing **** on the floor but we'll do it if we're facing a ****-show.

More like elevating the game to a higher level. Just one of the great places to watch a basketball game for a myriad of reasons. Maybe some of the Cincy fans that took the trip would like to weigh in? One Cincy fan called into the post-game radio show and was effusive in his praise.

The ChicKUn Sh!ts holler about their smelly old gym and the Phog coming from the bathrooms... Allen Fieldhouse has got nuttin' on The Roundhouse...

well... maybe a few more banners hanging from the rafters. 03-shhhh
