I will be happy if he is the guy. He took over Fresno St when they were just getting off probation. They had 4 losing seasons in a row before he got there. He has done a very good job. Look for even better results from him at UTEP.

Rodney was at UNCW for a time, he is an outstanding recruiter and did a great job. Lots of people in Wilmington were hoping he would be their head coach at some point, looks like a very good hire.

RE: UTEP Basketball HC Search
Terry has added ex San Diego HC as his top assistant. He comes with a little bit of baggage. UTEP has in the past taken chances on coaches looking for a fresh start without much backlash. Seems like a solid coach to have on the bench.

This conference is starting to flex its basketball muscle. Some great coaches in the mix, it would seem. All of the Texas programs are moving light years from just 1-3 seasons ago. WKU just got invited to a new ESPN tourney in Myrtle Beach. Southern Miss just landed a 4 star kid. Marshall's going to be scary, and I think MT bounces back on their feet by January.

Not a bad field: West Virginia, Wake Forest, St. Joseph's, Valpo, UCF, TBA. Some decent teams in the mix.
