Interesting idea from Jay Bilas,

"Example why At-Large selection decisions should be made last Sunday (based upon regular season only): Alabama has multiple extra chances to boost its resume. Mid-Majors (MTSU, SMC) can only hurt themselves. Conference tourneys should be about Automatic Bids, only."

How are you just gonna ignore games that were played 1-4 days ago against tourney-caliber opponents? That's absurd.

Because then teams projected to be seeded 8 or better won’t play and/or try in conference tourneys.

Why I think you could still use the games for seeding, just not as justification for a teaming getting an at large.

Bilas is a great analyst but has plenty of dumb ideas.

Hmm, so the A-10 might might might get 3 in. If Davidson can beat Rhode Island tomorrow, and the Bonnies get some love, that would be cool. Maybe keep awful teams like Arizona St. and Oklahoma out.

Mid majors getting love? I'm not holding my breath.

Rhode Island is another team from New England and you like teams from New England and Rhode Island will be in the tournament and they have quite a team maybe you should be a RI fan too that would be a cool thing I like them.

I'm happy for Davidson. I hope some crappy P5 team cries hard tonight.

Oklahoma doesn't deserve the bid. THey have lost 11 of their last 15 or some horrible number. I realize the B12 is tough, but they are part of the conference, they get the benefit of the exposure, money, etc. and so too dang bad.

Oklahoma: Just not good enough.

Agreed.

They haven't won a road game in 2018.

We could have another Ben Simmons with the OU boy. ESPN has spent all year hyping him up and he may not even see the dance.

why do I have that really bad feeling they will be there.....ESPN LOVES them some Trae Young. That's why.

Nevermind the team sucks.

CBS has USC out and st. Mary's in. What the hell are these guys looking at? USC has more good wins and a higher RPI.
