huh? Must have me confused ...

I think it was after the MWC turned you down.

Really? I find it interesting that the MWC commissioner made his comments about
WSU right before it became public knowledge that the Shockers were joining the AAC. Then a year later the MWC is rumored to be looking to expand with another basketball school.

Makes me wonder just who turned down who!

AAC and WSU has been talking for a few years. Deal was done months before press got word.

The deals that go through are always kept under wraps; the ones that don't come to fruition are the ones you hear a ton of rumors whirling around about.

I caught the end of the Colonial Championship last night (Northeastern @ Charleston). Literally half of the crowd was missing their teeth. #MustSeeTV

Fun game to watch though. Charleston came back from 17 down to force OT then ran away with it.

More than likely WSU and the MWC were also talking and when WSU told the MWC it was going to the AAC they didn't take it very well.

Looks like Arizona State is going to drop out in the first round of the Pac-12 Tourney ... Do they still make it in?

It is becoming more obvious that they have one team in and a probable. However their are only like 8 bid steal possibilities in the mid majors and lower conferences making an extremely weak bubble. So ASU could hold on, most years they would be done.

A mischief part of me kinda hopes the curtain tumbles down during a live game and everyone from the fans, coaches, cameramen, and players stop what their doing and just stare across at each other in bewilderment like looking in a mirror or alternate universes. And the only thing that keeps going is the game clock

So if Okie state rolls Oklahoma, are they out? I mean, no hard feelings, but I'd be a tiny bit giddy if both UT and OU both missed the tourney.

Hard to say.

A loss drops them to 18-13 with an RPI of about 48, Q1 6-8, Q2 3-5.

Plenty of folks seem to think Temple would get in with similar numbers.

Idk if I have ever seen a bubble this weak. With BYU taking out st Mary's and then getting worked by Gonzaga it could mean that the WCC gets 1 bid. If middle tennessee wins cusa a lot of people who would normally be out already will be back in play, there just aren't as many bid thieves in the mid majors.

Watching the Cusa tourney with Utep-Utsa. Those bleachers look terrible and only about a few hundred there. Really bad look for tv, even if it's only on facebook.

Oklahoma is 2-8 in its last 10 games.

Since the tournament field expanded in 1985, no team has gone 2-8 or worse in its final 10 games before the NCAA Tournament and gotten an at-large bid. H/T @EliasSports

So maybe they don't.

True but until like 5 years ago your performance in your last ten games was a factor.

Now unless someone was injured the timing of the game is not taken into consideration. They may break that historical norm.

Terrible layout for CUSA tourn. Why have a tourn at a good arena if you are not even going to use existing seating. Instead they ship in some cheap bleachers a mile from the permanent seats.
