BTW, I think that conviction carries up to 10 years. If you or I were found guilty would we have gotten off with probation and no prison time?

That’s not nearly as ironic as it might appear at first glance. Corporate America is now firmly in the grip of people like Megan Barry. They consider themselves to be the ideal candidates to lecture the rest of us on subjects like “corporate social responsibility” (and be paid for it, too). Nice work if you can get it. For those of us on the outside looking in, this whole little drama is a useful reminder of what dishonest/self-righteous @ssholes those people really are. Bad enough that they dominate the corporate world, but beware even more when they try to slither into the realm of elective office.

when something like this happens, why do OP's list what party they are affiliated with? This happens on both sides. Does it really matter what party he affiliates with?
