Y'all sumb---es better be glad he didn't say Chicago which is "technically" in the footprint.

The Greensboro/Charlotte/DC/Brooklyn rotation is fine and fun.

Maybe I haven't been giving Brooklyn enough credit.

RE: ACC Tournament---please say it ain't so
I've heard nothing but bad things about the tournament in Atlanta. The press didn't like it. The teams didn't like it (well, maybe GT did). The fans didn't like it. That surprises me because Atlanta hosts a lot of college sporting events.

If we are talking a 4-city rotation, I would go
NY - Brooklyn is fine
DC -
NC - I prefer Charlotte even at the expense of losing Greensboro
FL - Orlando? The tournament didn't do well in Tampa.

The ACCT has bigger issues though. The first thing they need to do is fix the ticket distribution. I've mentioned this before...instead of a 1/15 division I would divide the arena into 4 quadrants and package the tickets in 2-game sessions. Instead of getting 1300 tickets, each school would get 5000. You can buy all the applicable sessions at once or take the risk and buy them one at a time.

The other big issue is they need to make getting to the tournament affordable. Bear with me for a minute here... GT and Maryland used to be the outliers. They are ~5 hours from Greensboro. If your team advanced, it wasn't a huge deal for fans that aren't on the big donor list to get there the next day. Now, a lot of teams are outside of the driving range and last minute flights are expensive. You can usually find a motel-6 somewhere if you need one. If the ACC were to make a deal with an airline sponsor, it would make it easier for a poor fan like me to get to the tournament.

If it's edible, I suspect you can buy it in New York.
