I would assume that the Lawson's will steer clear as long as Tom Bowen is the AD.

He's speaking the truth.

Bowen made promises to Keelon, and he feels betrayed that they were broken. They also didn't like some of the criticism the sons got after they left. (Honestly, what did he expect?)

It's not bashing Bowen. Bowen made a mistake trying to keep everything together.

I'll be honest. I think Bowen is a bit of a scapegoat. I don't think the family has ever viewed the university in high regard. The uncle has let it slip a couple of times. Listen to the grandpa a bit on 730. He gives what he thinks away, even when he tries his best not to. lol.

I think Kansas is just easier on them. And I imagine money isn't an issue.

Penny is in a hard place. But I think he can figure it out. If he needs the Lawsons, he will do what it takes to keep them, unlike Tubby.

But it doesn't seem like Penny is going to put Keelon on the staff. I'll be interested in who takes over East. I've heard that Keelon wants that job? But is it in Penny's best interest to let him have it? Will Keelon send Penny players?

It has been stated publicly by Keelon.

Bowen lied to Keelon by telling him that he would be an assistant while allowing Tubby to demote him to DOBO still good pay but not an assistant role like he was promised.

I think Dedric will do well next year then go pro. Bill Self has said they have nobody that can guard him in practice. KJ will struggle to get playing time at KU. I see him transferring at some point (regular or grad).
