Ooohhhhhhh BURN.... you’re so SAVAGE!!! That was almost as magical as that top notch football rivalry that 12,000 fans show up to see vs WKU.

Thanks for proving my point. Stay salty my friend.

When you can't win, you can always turn to banter the attendance of another sport. Classic

Maybe it will give him motivation to play defense?

The flops will be extra spectacular this week.

In all seriousness though, he is a great player. I've never been impressed with his outside shooting but he's as good as they come at getting to the paint, creating shots and maneuvering around the basket. And his floor awareness is outstanding. I enjoy watching him play (when he isn't winning). That could hurt his stature as well.

Unfortunately, for him King was just spectacular all season and made the biggest shots at the biggest times of the year. That's what being an MVP is all about.

I don't think there is any question Elmore will be the runaway front runner for next year if he returns.

No, I had it the way it is the first time. He whines more than Grayson at Duke.

Congratulations on having the first one and done POY in the history of CUSA. The trophy shall forever more be referred to as "The Ringer."

Well, from this fans perspective based on what I witnessed on Saturday night, Elmore was without question the best player on the floor THAT NIGHT. I enjoyed watching that kid play.

On the contrary. Congratulations to King and MTSU. While it would have been awesome for Elmore to have won the POY, I understand why King earned the award. He was deserving of it. No two ways about it.

You were saying? If you need a little time to fix it back.

At the time it was only him....but I still stand by my congratulations to King for a well deserved award and season.

Certainly not the first thread where we've seen this so that's where I was going but thank you. I feel for folks like you because your fan base is starting to make wkcc fans and their goat fetish look normal with the way they've handled the tops two football titles (and FAUs) and now this. Absolutely zero respect for MT basketball coming from a vast majority of your amigos.

Here’s why again:
Elmore led conference in scoring and assists(2nd year in a row), top 16 in reb. from pg position(like 6 th in defensive rebounding), top 10 in nation in scoring and assists, led nation in triple doubles, only player in nation 22/6/7. In fact only player in last 28 years. Better NBA prospect by experts. Outplayed King head to head twice. That’s why.

Maybe it will give him motivation to play defense?

You mean like having more steals, and blocks than King like he has? To go along with More points per game and more assists?

Elmore may have been a consideration for “offensive” player of the year, but when you consider his nimbers on a per possession basis....and defense.....its a no brainer.
