Play in NYC, Greensboro or on the Moon? No big deal to me.
I am never going to attend the ACC basketball tournament, and likely would not if it were in Baton Rouge.
You guys argue this one. Let me know how it turns out.
You must yearn for the days Our Lady was independent in basketball as well? Or you don’t like basketball, I’m not sure. Nothing is keeping the Irish from scheduling home and homes with DePaul, Marquette, and Dayton.
Yes, I liked it better when ND basketball was independent.
I am a Notre Dame fan, not a fan of other ACC teams or the ACC itself. I don't even like the whole idea of conferences.
(nothing against the ACC per se, I wasn't a Big East guy either. It is the same for every conference that exists).
I wish every school were independent, making their own schedules, TV deals and bowl arrangements, etc...
I am not a fan of or have a rooting interest in any college athletic conference, at all.
The arguments between fans of opposing conferences is an alien thing to me. I don't get the "conference pride" thing.
So, I have no interest in attending the ACC basketball tournament.
I watch ND play in the ACC Tournament on my television, but don't tune in to watch other games in the Tournament, ever.
I have no interest in watching the other conference schools basketball teams play, that is all. It would be a surprise to me if other schools' fans had any interest in watching ND games.
I've lived in Baton Rouge since 1983 and graduated from LSU Law School. I never attend LSU sporting events. Don't like LSU athletics and have no interest in the SEC.
I am that way about pro sports too. I am a fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers and Penguins (born/raised near Pittsburgh), not major league baseball, NFL football or NHL hockey in general.
I watch those teams, and opposing teams only when they play teams I root for. Otherwise? No real interest here.
