Just didn’t look like the same team, not to take away anything from USM which came ready to play and deserved to win. MTSU deserves to be a at large team, but you can’t leave a bad impression right before selection Sunday

Not getting in. We have literally almost no chance. Lunardi, Davis, etc., they are rarely right when it comes to this stuff.

The ADs at Stanford, Duke and Kentucky are going to wield the most influence in that room and you can bet your ass that none of those three are going to have MT as even the last four out.

Kermit has already conceded it we are going to the NIT. Not even going out trying to convince anyone otherwise.

Saw on ESPN that MTSU is still expected to be invited as an 11th seed. In fact by losing you caused some other bubble team to be knocked out (possibly Louisville) per ESPN know it all.

Can't believe so many of you "fans" started downing your team so quick after losing last night. It happens, get over it. You have a damn good teams so try to be as good as your team is and stand behind them instead of whining when they let YOU.down.

I don't think there's anything wrong with fans being realistic with their chances, putting hope near the bottom so the only surprise can be a pleasant one. I get it. I would love for MT to get in but that's just not the world we live in at the moment. The committee prefers middling P5's over elite mid majors.

With an RPI of 28, the committee is going to have some explaining to do if they leave them out. I can't imagine many teams that high have been left off, but I could be off base there.

Watch. You will get Louisville vs. Oklahoma in one of the play in games and no MT.

Oklahoma with their 2-8 record over the last 10 games (and 4-13 over their last 17).

Louisville with their 4-8 over their last 12. They also bring a 3-11 record against Quad 1 vs. MT's 3-3. Both with worse RPI's.

Otherwise, I'm not sure what you are referring to 69. We lost. We took it. Not much else we can do.

But I'm not being negative because we lost. I honestly don't think we get in. Do I think we should be in? Yes, absolutely. But I just know the reality of the situation no matter how wrong it is.

Missouri State and Hofstra (2006), Air Force (2007) and Colorado State (2015) were snubbed despite 30-or-better RPIs. Middle Tennessee is sitting at 32 as of now, at least per Live RPI.

They deserve to make the tournament, but it's far from a sure thing.

USM sure likes costing the conference money. First they denied UH a BCS bowl and now they most likely denied MTSU an at large bid.

Alabama 100% in now. They just smoked Auburn. That's another bid taken away. SEC probably gets nine now.

Alabama beating #16 Auburn, and stunningly, Providence taking down #3 Xavier today isn't good.

Not at all...however, Providence isn't going to beat Nova imho...
