CUSA Women’s Final Four
Ladies take the stage tonight in Prime Time!(1) UAB vs (5) Rice
(2) WKU vs (11) North Texas

Texas Women’s teams 4-0 Wednesday and now 6-2 in this thing — and all from the 5-12 seeds. Thought UTEP was going to pull off another one yesterday but Blazers got it figured out late.

Rice back to playing like the first half of the season when they started 7-1 and beat WKU.

Host UNT with 2 straight upsets. Do they have a chance at 3? WKU clicking on all cylinders right now.

Last week I figured the champ was coming from the top 4 seeds. Probably most surprised to see LATech 1-and-done. They had been playing solid last few weeks.

Unlike the men, this bracket set up extremely well for WKU women....If we win today and play for title tommorrow its going to be a battle vs. either one of these two teams left on other side....

RE: CUSA Women’s Final Four
Obviously only 1 women's team from the conference is getting into the NCAA's. But several have chances at a different postseason tournament. Hopefully we can get at least 2 into the NIT. WKU and UAB have top-75 RPI's currently, and Rice is at 100. I wonder if Rice doesn't get into the NCAA's or NIT's, if we decline any other tournament bids. We won that one tournament last year but I don't know if there is any reason to play it again when we're playing with such a depleted roster anyway.

NCAA's or bust needs to be the motto for the 4 remaining squads, for now at least.

Have to agree. MG Gals are just not quite there yet.
