Would you go?07-coffee3

If ND was playing, yeah.

I have been to a cold, snowy Sun Bowl in El Paso and a cold, rainy Independence Bowl in Shreveport because the Irish were playing.

So, a bowl in Chicago in the snow? Sure.

To see two teams I don't care about play? Heck no. That would be the case if the bowl were in Hawaii or Miami.

Ditto. I go where Pitt goes, cold or not. I have no interest in going to bowls where Pitt isn't.

That said, I prefer warmer venues, not that you can definitively tell based on location what the weather will be. NYC for Pitt's Pinstripe Bowl was way better weather than the cold, miserable rain I experience during Pitt's game at the Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth. But if it going to be in the cold, I prefer NYC or Chicago which are both fantastic cities. I rather go to an outside game in Chicago than to a game in a dome in Detroit or Indianapolis.

Says you and who else who doesn't live in Green Bay? There's a reason there are domed stadiums in places like Minneapolis, Indianapolis and Detroit.

I was born/raised near Pittsburgh. I went to plenty of cold and snowy football games.

Those are the best to attend as a fan.

I have sat through games in Blacksburg, VA when it was snowing and 40 below zero... Those are NOT the best conditions for fans! It was a struggle to avoid frost bite, and I remember feeling like my eyelids were going to freeze shut.

NYC > Chicago > Detroit... I get that. But 72F > -40F also.

Layered clothing and some "antifreeze" and one is good to go!

40 below in Blacksburg? I'm sure it felt that cold but come on!
