UMass
Quarterfinals of the Hockey East playoffs this weekend. #2 seed NU takes on #8 seed UMass in a 3 game series.
Game 1 went to the Huskies. Power play coming through big, and after weathering a 3rd period storm by UMass and killing a power play, Sikura puts in the game winner. 3-2 NU final.
This win should almost certainly put us in the NCAA tournament which is nice to fall back on, since we didn't exactly play well this game. Let's come out for game 2 and take it to UMass for the sweep.

NU advances to the Hockey East Quarterfinals at the TD Garden after beating UMass 7-2 to sweep the best 2 out of 3 series at Matthews Arena.
Northeastern will face Providence next Friday at 8pm.
BU will face BC in the other semifinal at 5pm.
Both games will be on NESN Plus and ESPN3.

Nice way to take it to UMass. Hopefully the secondary scoring we've seen lately continues to the Garden and beyond.
