This is an indictment on both them and USF. They've got to find a more central home for this tourney. Dallas is probably it.

Why are you surprised? It was the same way 2 years ago. Now if they held it on campus instead of at the twice as large Amway, it would have been much better.

What about Arkansas?

To be fair they have had a tough year with injuries which hasn't let them build any momentum.

Ucf has done a good job promoting the football and baseball teams but for whatever reason, the fan support for basketball has become stagnant.

Sure, UCF has a good core group of fans but the problem is that it hasn't grown. The casual fan is starting to get into the baseball team but is indifferent to basketball.

They need to put themselves out there. Market themselves to businesses.

FedExForum and BOK Center should just rotate the AAC tourney...

Dallas is central? Assuming we're talking an AAC city, I would think Memphis.

I am referring to central to a lot of teams. Hence why I didn't say Cincinnati.

Cincinnati would do just fine if they had a decent downtown arena to play in.

It doesn't have to rotate anywhere.

Once again, Memphis allows for seven AAC schools that are in 9hrs or less driving distance. I don't think there is a place better than that. And Memphis is a pretty cool town to visit.

I predict the tournament will do very well in Fort Worth.

I was a little surprised to see that their new arena is only going to seat 14k though. If Memphis turns it around i'm sure they will travel and with them plus WSU and SMU fans the place should get pretty full regularly.

Don't forget Tulsa and Houston. We open the new arena next year. Our season ticket base is going to swell. Fort Worth is only four hours away.

Hell, if Dunleavy keeps improving at Tulane, you might see some Wave fans there.
