Really unfortunate because I truly believe the top of the conference is quite good this year. I think there are 4-5 teams in this conference that could have won quite a few other conferences.

Definitely; top 4 are solid and UAB has as much talent as the top 4. Hope all the postseason teams get to show out and we don't get screwed on seeding

Like I said on BRZ, at least it will be a quick reaction that we don't make (or do...?) the tournament since they're revealing all teams up front at the start of the program...

I'm not even going to bother wasting my time turning it on. Why bother when you already know the outcome. The talking heads will jizz all over themselves about how amazing Oklahoma was in November and why they belong or how Alabama beat an Auburn team in the SEC tournament that was a shell of the team we played in Birmingham. Or how Louisville's 3-11 record against Quadrant 1 was just a fluke and they are destined to make a big time NCAA tourney run.

My question would be if the bad losses for MTSU are the reason that they will get left out, wouldn't the Marshall losses now not be as bad with them winning the tournament?

MTSU should get in but probably will not...they will take teams from Power Conf that finish 7th-8th place with losing conference records

If MTSU doesn't get in the NCAA's it'll be a trava-sham-ockery. Most wins on the road. Highest road teams' faced rpi. Not to mention their past couple yrs. in the tourney, they HAVE to make it.

I think Marshall winning the tournament helps MTSU's case to be honest.

Earlier today, CBS had MT as one of the last four out. I hope they're wrong.

And had them beat early in the season plus we stink this year too

Aside from the USM game MT doesn't have any bad losses.

And that will be "the reasoning" - a bad loss in the conference tournament yet they will completely ignore the fact that Oklahoma pretty much lost to anyone with a pulse over the last two months of the season.
