Outside of 2014, a five seed was the best Marshall could do in the MVC for Wichita. And that was as the top Valley team.

As the third best team in the league this year, I think the worst Wichita gets this year is a five seed. They might get a four.

Shockers have to be happy about that. Had they won the conference this year, they would have been a one or a two seed.

They were never going to be a 1, 2 at best, likely 3 if they had won it.

Had they won either Notre Dame or Oklahoma there may have been a brief period where they were the overall #1.

7 more points over the course of the season (Notre Dame, Temple, Cincy finale) and WSU is flirting with the 1 line.

They really should end up a 3 seed but NCAA probably screws them with a 5.

Wichita was hired to bring in some tourney credits. Hopefully they'll go far.

Predicting a 4 seed in Boise or Dallas. Hoping for Dallas.
