Im going off of pre-season discussion. There was a thread awhile back where between Cincy fans about how great this team is as some couldn't agree on how far back. So I'll let you and your own fans talk that out.
I'd be shocked if uc fans made a claim as bold as yours before the season. Many of us believed 2002 was the last bearcat team at this level. Before 2002 there was a bearcat team at this level every couple years. This team has been exactly what i hoped all year. Now i hope it pays off in a tournament run.
17-20 years is about what I recall from that whole discussion. I think yall are in a good position and I hope they make it to the finals. great group of players.

I’ll admit I was worried about a first round loss but that was before I saw we were playing Marshall. I’m not worried anymore. I’m already practicing for the West Virginia postgame. “They foul every possession, the refs can’t call them all.” “It’s amazing how West Virginia is allowed to shove whoever they want in the final 2 minutes.”

The regular season doesn’t count for Wichita because.
The conference tournament doesn’t count for Wichita because. The NCAA, that’s where Wichita will show the American something.

The only way we lose to Marshall though would be to play our worst game of the year, and YUP!... we did just that. Celebrate quickly AAC, because as history shows... we'll be back; and we'll be better than ever.
