NCAA Tournament
We got nine in. Sorry Louisville and Notre Dame. Next we complain about seedlings and then about Charles Barkley.

BTW, what was that firewood doing on the table at NCSU?

All you need to get in is stumble your way through the ACC with a losing record and get torched by 19 in the conference tournament and you get a play-in game.

Four of the ACC's nine bids are in the Midwest. I hope one of the other three takes out Kansas so Duke doesn't gave to see them in the regional final, if Duke gets that far. The regional is in Omaha which is only 210 miles from Lawrence.

Only one ACC team in the East Regional which is surprising.

RE: NCAA Tournament
The painful 0.9 second implosion at home against UVA just got more painful.

2 and 1 against Florida State. 2 and 0 against Virginia Tech. And hold on over the Cavs ...

Although ... I don't think the committee puts us in even after that. It is easy to see them finding any reason to keep the Cards out of this tourney.

Notre Dame should have gotten in though. Especially with Oklahoma being in the dance. The Sooners aren't deserving at all.

Notre Dame was the team screwed over by Davidson winning toady according to NCAA Selection guy.

ACC would've had 10 teams.

And Syracuse might have escaped the Dayton play-in game.

Probably our only chance for a win... I'll be totally estatic to somehow still be alive Saturday morning. Next year we'll be closer to a normal Cuse team.

Well, he roots for UVA. What do you expect really?

Plus, their fanbase can't talk smack during football season, so it builds up all year until basketball comes around. They just can't help themselves.

REMEMBER THIS CLASSIC EXCHANGE FROM APRIL 2014?

Quote:wahoowa: I hear 117 Fans rocked the GT spring game. UGa draws more than that for a women's soccer pep rally.

GT swagger: UGA also draws more than that to the horticulture barns at 3 AM. Your point?

wahoowa: Maybe GT should have thrown in a science fair or a dungeons and dragons conference to boost attendance...

GT swagger: Would that work as well as a Zebraz fashion show would for UVA? There were actually about 3-4K fans that were there, and NONE of them were wearing dockers, button down shirts, croakies, or navy/orange polka dot bow ties.

Opposum (Duke fan): Nobody wearing a bow tie should count as an attendee at a football game, unless they are selling ice cream. If you are near a football game and wearing a bow tie and not selling ice cream you are there for something else. Sorry if this cuts the Hoos' attendance numbers by 2/3 but facts are facts.

ncbeta (ECU fan): Many who go to games are just there to socialize; you're going to find kids in ties at almost any southern football game. I know it's not a bow tie but I have seen Alabama fans wearing neckties to games.

Opposum (Duke fan): I was talking specifically about bow ties; I am from the deep South, I have worn ties to countless college football games, I know how it is. Socializing is a part of the game. It's all fun. Bow ties are different. You should never trust anyone who wears a bow tie, unless they are selling ice cream. The bow tie wearers who don't have ice cream to sell are usually from Ole Miss and UVA. They are not to be trusted.

ncbeta (ECU fan): What about your friends from 10 miles away [Chapel Hill]? I've seen a lot of their greeks wearing bow ties when we've played them.

Opposum (Duke fan): Do I even have to answer this? Don't even trust those guys to sell you ice cream, no matter what kind of tie they're wearing. They openly admitted that their entire undergraduate program was a fraud to avoid saying that they cheat to help their basketball and football programs. I wouldn't eat anything they were selling.

Ah, 2014... those were the good old days!

117 Fans rocked the GT spring game

I root for UVa and think I treat fellow fans here a bit different. I think there are some from every fan base who say things we do not agree with.

Well unlike ND, Davidson won their way into a bid. That isn't "screwed over" that's winning.

C’mon now, you’re ruining my narrative that all UVA fans are obnoxious and pompous! I can’t be seen agreeing with a Wahoo!

FWIW, I’ve not personally had that many bad interactions with UVA fans. He’s just perpetuating the stereotype. As you’ve said, there’s annoying ones in every fanbase.
