I'm completely disgusted that MTSU is left out. That's our best team. I've been wondering for the past few years if a conference basketball tournament is in our best interest. No one is ever happy with the location, attendance is poor, and our best teams always seem to lose and get left out of the Dance.

MTSU - one of my alma maters - earned a bid and should have been invited. I am disappointed for the players and irritated toward the Selection Committee.

conclusion: Judy hasn’t made us better and hasn’t made us worse either

That could not have been too much fun with Memphis State winning it every year, with just a couple of at-larges mixed in. Am I right or wrong ?
You are right.

Although I suppose the Memphis fans must’ve loved it. Since they switched leagues they haven’t been able to keep up the same pace

At this point I'm not even sure Middle would've gotten a bid had they beat us in the tournament.

I think you are correct.

With a 3-seed in the NIT, we were anywhere from 9th to 12th outside the bubble.

I think MT could have had lost as many as Oklahoma if we were in the Big 12, however (-;

Hindsight I think a conference championship appearance was necessary. And even then.....I'm not completely convinced Middle would've gotten an at-large bid had they lost the championship game. This system is so rigged that I don't even think Middle's resume came across "their" desk. I doubt St. Mary's did either.

Texas? lol
How TF did Kansas get a 1-seed over Cincinnati or Purdue?
Arizona State? lol
Michigan State a THREE seed? LOL
10-loss North Carolina a ******* TWO SEED? lol
Oklahoma? Apparently have one good player means you get an NCAA bid regardless of a ****** resume and lising 13 of their last 17 games
Texas Tech a THREE SEED? LOL
30-4 Gonzaga a FOUR SEED?

THIS **** IS RIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

It's really hard to pay attention to the whole hoops season just to know that only a handful of games matter at the very end. This kind of crap will kill the sport eventually.

Very true. We knew any chance of getting in without the conference tournament was over when we lost the 2nd game of the season to Temple, and thus would not have the opportunity to beat Auburn or Clemson. Instead we got Indiana State and Dayton, who were disasters this year.

No wonder we struggle attendance-wise, as a conference.

Our regular season games are for pride only.

What the NCAA (and sports media) has done with the tournament is turned the regular seasos into dog and pony shows for teams outside the silver spoon conferences.
