2014-2015: 23-11 NIT second round
2015-2016: 20-12 NCAA loss first four (9 seniors)
2016-2017: 15-17 no post season
2017-2018: 19-12 no post season

The classes have mostly been evened out from losing the 9 seniors. We expected NIT this year, we lost an Aussie center in mid-september to go home and turn pro.

So mostly what we have expected or just under. He deserves next year, which means we need to extend to cover him to be able to recruit.

Anything less than the NCAA (barring a rash of injuries or other craziness) next year and he will be done. Getting the classes more balanced was important and at least sets the table for the next coach if Haith doesn't make it.

I think Magnay leaving was in October rather than September. I remember seeing him in practice videos. That loss for us was similar to UCF losing Dawkins for the year.

I find the class balance argument funny since it looks like he will be creating a 6 man class in the near future with all his JUCO recruits. That's almost exactly the number of significantly contributing players we lost when Haith was in his second year. It looks like he's making the same problem again.

Do we really think that other coaches saying "he may not byour coach during your entire career" is a more detrimental argument than "he won't take you to the tournament"? I would think an opposing recruiter would do better at letting the recruit know Haith's track record than his contract status.

I don't want them saying either. Certainly not both.

Remember one of those juco's are sophomores. If I remember right next year 4 seniors, 5 juniors, 3 sophomores, 2 freshman. Seems more balanced to me. One of those seniors is a walk on and there are some redshirts in there. With injuries etc we could see someone else redshirt and probably a freshman redshirt.

I was thinking that was the case. And of course one of this year's freshman redshirted so that should leave things fairly balanced stil,l I think.

I trust Nevada on this so the numbers would be 3 Seniors (+walk on) 3 juniors 4 sophomores, 2 freshman (1 RS)

Also TU fans I started a thread to go more in-depth on Haith in general not just contract talk on the tulsa board.

None of this year's freshman redshirted

Horne played a year at Nebraska and took a transfer RS this year. He will be a sophomore
Moore played a year at SLU and isn't playing for a JUCO this year but will play for us next year (basically redshirting) He will be a sophomore
Barnes played a year at UTEP and isn't playing for a JUCO. He will be a sophomore.
Hewitt redshirted at a D1 school in California and played this season for his JUCO. He will be a sophomore
Joiner played this year. He will be a sophomore
Jackson played this year. He will be a sophomore.

That's 6 sophomores.

Yeah extending a coach not meeting expectation is how you get stuck with a Lebo.

Wow. He must have been playing hide and seek from me. I can recall everyone being in at some time or another (including Foree) except for him.

Panic just sold some bonds so Haith can be extended and given a raise
