Bonnies defeat UCLA - advance to meet Florida
First tournament win for the Bonnies since their 1970 Final Four run. Good for them.

I thought it was funny reading the headline on Yahoo about this one, that Bonaventure "stunned" the Bruins, despite both having the same seed. And playing on an A10 court.

We heard and knew Bonaventure could be good for this. Let's see what they do the next game. Better late than never winning games against the big guys.

So seeing this result- shouldn't be a surprise. With this- west coast teams are now only 3-6 in the PIG at large games in Dayton. What's a bit strange is that they're 2-2 on Tuesday's but then only 1-4 on Wednesday. I would have thought those daily results would have been flipped given the Tuesday games are a much tighter turn around.

Very possible that Arizona St makes it 3-7 after tonight.

Bona is good...worth a long luck as an upset pick next round.

A-10 moves to 2-0 in the dance so far. Not bad so far. The games get tougher after this. But reports of the demise of the A-10 has been overstated again.

Yeah, and consider both teams as fortunate for having made the tournament. To place them head-to-head with similar teams, which OU and UCLA are, was good for comparison.

Could Bona and Rhody hang? Yeah, they could.

Yea, this year was the shakiest ever for the league's 3 bid entitlement. But they've already performed reasonably well. Now its all about exceeding expectations.

Florida wipes out the Bonnies, but it was a great win over UCLA anyway.

Good Florida showed up

I was impressed. Haven't followed Florida all year, but they seemed to have some real athletes on the court - lots of tall rangy athletic guys, wondered why they were as low as a 6th seed, and you just answered that.

I got the idea that if they catch fire, they could do some damage - seem to have a high ceiling.

Agreed...they could make the F4 no problem. Of course they are streaky.
