Since this guy was presumably a private citizen, I would guess Alex Jones is in trouble since it shouldn't be hard to show there was harm inflicted etc. I'm guessing Alex Jones settles with this guy despite the threat of going to trial.
A few points. Alex Jones or his site published the PARENTS of the complaintant's address and they were harassed. And the plaintiffs have announced that they WANT this to go to trial.
Source? His op-ed in Politico claims that they were posted by a "neo-nazi message board". Alex is neither a neo-nazi, nor does he have a message board.
Actions kicked off by Jones'' bad reporting have occurred so frequently as to be predictable. BTW, whose oped in politico?

Did you really just pull a random, nondescript sentence from the complaint as proof of your very specific claim? You obviously just made it up that Jones posted their addresses.
You know the deal, retract and disavow.

I am also of the opinion that Alex Jones is a bit of a loon, but I really enjoy the Youtube videos of his teams going to protests and asking questions of protesters. Very entertaining.

Can't have it, too effective. He needs to be banned.

Not in this case.
I think Tom is angry at Alex for letting everyone know that ~THEY~ are turning the frogs gay. Tom doesn't like it when people reveal details of the Big Gay Agenda.

The alt-left loves to make fun of Alex on that one, but Cal-Berkeley did a study, and well..

MSM's obsession with mass shootings has lead to several additional mass murders. Should they be sued for triggering the madmen?

Daily Beast admits lawsuit is frivolous, risks anti-SLAPP.
Good on them. They understand that ganging up on people you disagree with can obviously work both ways.
Quote:“The problem is that the complaint buries that core wrong into a general attack on InfoWars and Alex Jones and their fans.”
“That might make for good press, but it’s dangerous,” White continued. “Texas has a very strong anti-SLAPP law. If InfoWars can frame the lawsuit as being more broadly about the content of its speech in general (or about the speech of third-party commenters, for whom InfoWars is not responsible under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act), the plaintiff faces a real risk of an anti-SLAPP ruling.”
SLAPP, or Strategic lawsuit against public participation, refers to strategic, frivolous lawsuits designed to silence particular categories of speech. Different states have different types of laws on this litigation. Gov. Rick Perry signed Texas’s anti-SLAPP law in 2011, and it had the support of the American Civil Liberties Union, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and a number of free speech advocates and organizations.
