You guys are not getting with the program. Oklahoma was the underdog. Everyone roots for the underdog. That over dog mid-major Rhode Island is not supposed to be your favorite. Remember this is almost the new NCAA tournament where the real underdogs are sitting at home.

The A-10 always manages multiple bids. At times its kind of easy for them to be categorized as a mid major, but there are enough programs that spend, SCHEDULE, and compete appropriately that they usually get find a way to get 3 teams in the dance.

Since the A-10 has was supposedly decimated by a raid, they've had 19 bids in 5 years, won 11 (and counting) tournament games, placed a team in the Elite 8, and have placed an eye popping NINE separate teams in the dance. 12 teams currently in the league have been to the dance since 2011 (the other two teams are hopelessly outmatched in the league). The conference is so deep that its going to still usually get multiple bids even in down years.

2017, 3 teams (1-2)
2016, 3 teams (2-3)
2015, 3 teams (2-3)
2014, 6 teams (4-6)

They might not be a top level conference, but they're somewhere between a mid major and a top tier conference.

Not according to ESPN. I saw a tweet where it was the first upset when Rhode Island won. I was thinking — how stupid are these people? Just get dumber every day.

They are suck effing morons. RI was favored by two.

Just like last year when every one said MT "upset" Minnesota yet we were a five point favorite.

It was an upset because ESPN wanted OU to win so they could hype Tre Young into the next LeBron.

If Rhode Island had a better inside game it would have been a blow out.

Fair enough, but just know that there are plenty of people seem to constantly try to argue that the A-10's days as a multibid league are passed.
