Hard to fight for a lame duck coach that is going to his "bigger" program soon. Kind of deflating, you'd think.

Yeah. Maybe it will be WKU vs Louisville in NYC. I'd go to that...

I still say this game should been a home game for MTSU. Would have made a big difference in my opinion. Having said that Louisville hitting more 3's than usual and getting the calls doesn't help. Louisville's size hurt also.

Living here in the metro area I have seen several UofL games and tonight they played one of their best games of the season. They just out played MTSU anyway you look at it. Good season, nothing to be disappointed in.

Good game MTSU. Thought for sure King was going to beat us by himself. Good luck in your coaching search as you guys have a solid program

The arena is solid. I think I read where it cost almost a half $billion to build

That is as close to professional sports that I've ever seen in college

Grown ass men wearing red afro wigs and masks, running up and down the stairs hooting and hollering when they hit 3-pointers.

Was glad to get back to Tennessee late last evening, that is for sure.

Frustrating to watch last night. I don't think we necessarily played uninspired because of the distraction from Kermit leaving.

It was more that McMahon kid. Dude has only hit more than three three-pointers in an entire game once in his life and hits four in less than five minutes of game time last night. UL hit six three pointers in that second quarter. Not much you can do when people are just throwing up junk and it just keeps going in. Game was over at that point. Difference between it being a one or two possession game at the end and a blowout. I know it wasn't this high but if someone told me UL shot 70% last night I would believe it.

Just more NCAA BS. We never should have been on the road last night. I'm not saying Louisville wasn't worthy of a 2-seed. I just know that we should have been playing somebody in Murfreesboro last night. F the NCAA.

Louisville shot over 50% but so did Middle.

Difference was that Louisville shot over 50% from 3 and Middle didn't. That and the turnovers.

Yesssss. My family won’t let me go on not watching the tourney. My 88 year old mother in law is a hoops fanatic. Calls me in the summer giving me updates on the NBA Playoffs. Knows all the players. Anyway, she keeps calling me telling me updates on the tourney. She knows I hate UK yet continues to tell me what they’re doing. I swear it’s innocent. We have a good relationship. She just can’t fathom that someone that follows/ed hoops so much won’t watch.

Full disclosure. After working on a truck and pull trailer yesterday I did come in and watch some of the Middle game. Every time they’d make a run some jakeleg I’d never heard of from Louieville would hit a 3. I knew it was over and quit watching. But I still haven’t watched any NCAA tourney games.

My oldest son who I love dearly updates me via text. He says “I know you’re boycotting but Tennessee is losing.” He usually only updates me when a big is losing. Lol.

I’ll probably still get my season tickets again next year. I really enjoyed our year. I just hate what the assssholes on the committee have done.

You were right about those Ky interstates --- very nice...... until you got closer to L'ville.

L'ville is one jacked up city, as far as roads are concerned though.

And I don't ever want to hear midwesterners call Southerners "rednecks" again. My dining experience is Jeffersonville IN was awful, to say the least. I'll spare the details.

Are there any rumors or lists out there on who the Middle AD might be looking at to replace Davis. Anyone on staff that would be trustworthy enough to give the ball to and just keep the Middle train rolling.

I think that's the million dollar question right now. Promote one of the two assistants or look to go outside and bring in fresh blood.

Both assistants have been with Kermit for at least this decade. One coached at Creighton and K-State under Dana Altman and Lon Kruger, respectively.

The other won a couple of national titles as a head coach at a lower level and was with Kermit for a decade.
