Hartford
NU finally played a game for the first time in 8 days and they came away with a 3-1 win over Hartford in Brookline.

It was a chilly home opener but that didn’t stop Soph. Sean Mellen.

He picked up his 5th win, going 6 innings allowing 5 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 5 K. He now has 1.09 ERA with 41 K’s.

Kyle Murphy picked up his 3rd save.

Ryan Solomon and Mason Koppens had 2 hits each and Jake Farrell hit his 3rd homer of the season.

NU visits BC Tuesday in the first game at BC’s new field in Brighton.
