What happens if the MW expands?
Im seeing a lot of rumors about the Mountain West Conference expanding. MW has 11 basketball teams and 12 football teams with Hawaii. Rumor is they want to get to 16 teams.

Top teams in play:

Gonzaga (West Coast basketball, no football)
New Mexico State (Indy football, WAC basketball)
UTEP (All C-USA)

Potential others:
Rice (All C-USA)
North Texas (All C-USA)
BYU (West Coast basketball, Indy football)

If we lost one, two or three teams what happens to C-USA? Does this start the next round of Conference Realignment. Who does C-USA backfill with? Is it a complete C-USA/Sunbelt merger at that point?
