My vote wouldn't change a bit no matter who Penny signs lol. He could have 1-10 5* recruits.

You see, elite recruits are a decided advantage in high school where a "dream team" can be formed with said team steamrolling the entire city league utilizing little more than street ball. That stuff doesn't work in college. This is what Memphis fans are going to learn (some at a very old age I presume).

On defense, he leans on full court 1-2-2 that falls into a man to man in the half court. He has used a matchup zone too when in foul trouble.

He said in the PC he wants to run, jump and press. Most on the current roster can't do none of that. So let's hope he infuses that talent quickly or that game plan won't work.

Yeah that vacated final four looks awesome in the record books.

Of course Pastner followed the same path minus sancations. How did you all do then? Of course that's probably not fair, Cal came with head coaching experience. NBA and NCAA tourny experience and Josh had just been a college assistant. How much experience does Penny have? Probably show us if Penny is going to be Pastner 2.0 or Cal 2.0
