Putting a personal positive spin on this NCAA tournament
First a little background...

I'm a UC grad and fan. I am a Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. I also love the Cavs, hated LeBron for a while, but now we are all good. I am anything but a frontrunner.

The Cats are out of the tournament so naturally my rooting interest is very low and then it hit me. I am going to practically guarantee a celebration for myself Monday after next.

I'm pulling for 14 teams left in the tournament. As long as Gonzaga and Nevada are eliminated, I'm going to consider myself a champion. I won't go as far as buying a t-shirt, with tournament champs on it like I did the UC AAC Champs one I am wearing right now, but I will feel like a winner just the same.

So go anybody not named Gonzaga or Nevada! Go Cats too for good measure!

Eh, I'm bitter and proud of it.

Being a UC, Reds and Bengals fan, you'd think I'd be used to it by now but I guess I'm a slow learner.

I now root against people. With zavier and O$U out, my prime target now becomes UK. I don't care if it takes until the final game, just so they lose.

I also hope Loyola waxes... that one team. I can't watch that game. The mere sight of all those guys might cause me to lose control of bodily functions.

I hear ya' man. I was looking forward to the possibility of having a Bearcats national title banner made up myself - and I am a UCF fan no less.

Don't worry man. You'll be back....

I thank you my UCF brother for allowing me to share in your football national championship this year. Charge on!

Crowned myself national champion last night. Hated Gonzaga gone, Nevada gone, and the icing on the cake UK lost. Hate meter in this tournament can be turned off. Now I’m pulling for Huggins in a no lose situation from here on out. Winning!

Why does Cincy dislike Gonzaga?

My thought is to root for 1-bid leagues since they'll probably still be a 1-bid league next year. Whereas P5/BE success today could get them more bids in the future, at the expense of the AAC.

i don't think Cincy hates Gonzaga - it's more me. I have disliked them ever since the Morrison days. I don't like Mark Few. I don't like their fans they are Cameron wannabes. Stereotypical private school dorks and I like private schools. The Kennel is a dumb "forced" marketing based, manufactured tradition. Very cheesy. Surprised they didn't change their school colors to teal and black back in the 90's.

There isn't a single thing I like about them except I'm glad they lost last night and I only wish FSU had won by more than 15.

Not to mention Morrison being a pretty bizarre person too for a while. He seems to be more level headed now but there were some really out there stories about some of his behavior when he was in the NBA.

I actually appreciated Morrison calling out zavier for the sh** talkers that they were/are...

No Elite 8 representation from the Mountain/Pacific Time Zones.

Looks like East Coast Bias is really East Coast Truth.
