Just think... Cincinnati's path could have been 15, 7, 11, 9. That would have to be the easiest path in the modern NCAA Tournament era. Makes me sick to think about the blown opportunity.

Yep. 11 minutes of bad basketball killed it. I still think UC is one of the best teams in the country. Loyola is a nice story and I am happy to see them doing well, but if they play UC 10 times, the Cats win 8 I bet. Same for Nevada-Reno.

Think of how close we probably were to a Houston v. Cincinnati Final Four game. Both teams just hold in games they were near 100% to win at some point. UC probably would have been like 70% to make the final four against that draw. Houston would probably be near 50% against theirs. Everyone would be talking about the AAC. Such a frustrating finish.

So Tulsa beat a team that made the Elite 8 (and plays them home and away the next 2 years). That's not shabby.
