I predict they’ll win more than Memphis.

No doubt. And the gap will continue to widen as Dan Hurley builds his program.

Memphis will dominate UConn in one category next year though... All-Airport Team.

Poor Penny/Memphis fan lol... a hard lesson is a-comin'.

I don't think we will win 15 games.

I think UCONN will win 15 games.

Just because the basketball team I root for stinks, that doesn't mean I can't participate in AAC basketball discussion. 04-cheers Good luck to the Huskies. I hope Hurley pays off - but be patient with him. Rome wasn't built in a night.

I'll give him the 15-18 range. I'm not sold on the guy.

Has everyone forgot their 30 point loss at home? I mean, that's just not an off night. You almost have to try to lose by 30 points.

And am I forgetting this miracle tournament run? Barely beat a bottomed out Oklahoma team in OT as the higher seed and then got thumped pretty good in the 2nd round.

So yeah, the guy's probably not a total doofus but that aint John Wooden walking through the door either.

He obviously had UCONN on his mind by the end of the regular season...

7 years as a winning D1 coach with some nice work in the NCAA tournament out of a mid-major league. I don't know what more you could ask...

And for Memphis fans, he even has some standout HS coaching experience!!!!1111

Northeastern high school/AAU coaches love the Hurley family. The guy had a Top 30 recruiting class coming to freaking Rhode Island next season... Enough said. Those ties along with the UCONN Basketball brand should have our recruiting on-point. And now we have someone who can actually coach and develop that talent.

15 wins gets a coach a pay raise at ECU.

Reminds me of when Villanova lost to Creighton by like 120. I think Jay Wright does just fine for himself.

Turning around programs is impressive. Hurley has done that at two different schools. Dan is obviously the better coach of the two brothers and Bobby is doing alright in Year 3. If the floor is competing for at-large bids then that’s still a big step up from Ollie. If Dan Hurley isn’t competing for national championships in 5 years then UConn can cross that bridge when they come to it.

Please note the only two people mentioning Memphis in this thread are Wichita fans.
