Makes me wonder how the run rule works. USM pounded us 12-2 just over a week ago, and they were actually up 12-0 after six innings. We didn't get our lone two runs until the top of the ninth.

Speaking of which, how about we show some restraint with such scores because we've definitely had our share of being on the other end of score lines like these.

If it was a Sunday game they may enact a 10 run rule for travel purposes. I could be wrong.

As for Tech, I am happy to get out of Birmingham with a series win. Tech athletics struggle to win there in every sport it seems. Some of our starters are entering uncharted territory in terms of innings pitched and we are only half way through the season. It will be interesting how they perform down the stretch.

FIU appears to have a really good offense and will be in Ruston. With a some time inept offense (aided in part by our coaches devotion to trying to steal bases with 2 outs and bunting every chance they get), Tech will have a tough time I suspect. I hope to be wrong. That's a tough road trip to come from South Florida to Ruston.

Correct.

Sorry but why do i need to "show restraint" all I did was post the score and that UTSA swept and improved to 3-2 from the 0-2 start in conference play. obviously we've been on the other end of scores like this but that doesn't mean I'm not allowed to post on here when we win lmao
